Description

Possibly my favourite Alocasia…Absolutely gorgeous upright heart shaped thick green glossy leaves with ruffled edges. Lovely thick stout stems with a purple mottle. As with most Alocasias it will form a trunk.

Height and Spread: 3-5 ft

Sun/Shade: Partial shade, won’t be happy in full shade.

Soil Conditions: Moist well drained soil.

Hardy/Winter protection: Tender. Bring it in for winter, heated greenhouse is ideal. However, can be kept as a houseplant in a conservatory.
