Description

Evergreen palm that is sometimes multi stemmed or single trunk topped with a mass of green fan shaped leaves to 30-40 cm in length.  It is one of the most cold-hardy palms.  Also known as European fan palm or Mediterranean dwarf palm.

Height and Spread:  Height 2m max.  Spread: 1.5m.

Sun/Shade: Full sun or partial shade.

Soil Conditions: Moist well drained soil.

Hardy/Winter protection: Hardy

Other info: feed and water well to get them to grow reasonably fast otherwise they are slow growing.
