Description

One of the hardiest of all ginger lilies.  Lance shaped mid-green leaves.  Orange/apricot flowers in dense spikes approx. 20cm long.  Lovely reliable little ginger, very free flowering.  Blends perfectly with other exotics.  Does not have a strong fragrance like some of the other Hedychiums.

Height and Spread: Height 75cm to 1.2m Spread: 1.5m

Sun/Shade:  Full sun or partial shade in sheltered position.

Soil conditions: Moist but well drained fertile soil.

Hardy/winter protection:  Hardy, can give a good layer of mulch.
