Description

Large glaucous-green foliage with very attractive bright orange flower spikes.  Lovely reliable plant and easy to grow. Tara is not scented like some of the other hedychiums.  Originates from Nepal and was found by Tony Schillings and named Tara after his daughter.

Height and Spread:  Height 1.8m. Spread: 1.2m

Sun/Shade:  Full sun to partial shade.

Soil conditions: Moist rich well drained soil.

Hardy/winter protection: Hardy. Ours comes up year after year and has been in the garden for over 12 years.
