Description
Lovely upright paddle type banana leaves atop broad based stems. Mature stems produce a spectacular large yellow flower (golden lotus). Naturally forms dense clumps. Comes from Yunan, a province in the south of China.

Sun/Shade: Full sun can tolerate light shade.
soil conditions: Moist well drained soil.
Hardy Winter protection: Almost as hardy as Musa basjoo. We leave ours in the ground with a good mulch. Plenty of grit was added to planting hole.
