Description
Zingiber mioga is part of the ginger family and is native to Japan and Korea. An herbaceous perennial, stems emerge in spring with lovely, lush green foliage soft lemon basal flowers appear later. It is a traditional crop in Japan known as myoga, young shoots and flower buds are used for cooking.
