Description

Bright pink stemmed Colocasia topped with matt green heart shaped leaves with a pink dot in the middle. Pinkish purple hues to the underside of leaves.

Soil Conditions: Moist fertile soil. Can also be planted in the margins of a pond or bog garden.

Sun/Shade: Full sun or partial/dappled shade.

Height and Spread: Height 1.2m Spread 1.2m (3ft in uk)

Hardy/Winter Protection: This is the only Colocasia that we have found to be hardy in the UK. If left in the ground give it a layer of mulch. May be lost in a harsh winter, if in doubt lift and protect in a frost free environment. Ours have been left in the ground in our garden without a mulch and have come back without problems…we never know however, what the winter will bring.
