Description

Particularly good Hedychium for the UK garden as its fully hardy and flowers reliably. Relatively short species with lustrous green foliage and slender flower spikes densely packed with small flowers in bright orange or dark golden yellow.  Will form a large handsome clump with bulbous rhizomes showing on the ground.

Height and Spread: 1.3m in height x 1m

Sun/Shade: Partial shade

Soil Conditions: Well drained humus rich soil.

Hardy/Winter protection: Hardy but will benefit from a mulch in winter.
